About Blue Harbor
Blue Harbor Psychotherapy is a virtual psychotherapy practice whose primary goal is to provide a safe, supportive and comfortable space for clients to work through issues and challenges. We believe in a holistic, integrative and collaborative approach to mental health wellness. We also aim to remove the stigma around mental health. We believe that mental health matters and taking care of it should be priority for everyone.


Lloyd M. Fider, LCSW
Owner/Psychotherapist
Lloyd received his Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Stony Brook University and his Master’s Degree in Clinical Social Work from Fordham University. He has over 10 years of experience working with a diverse set of clients in a variety of settings. He started his career working with children and families, and now primarily works with adults, including members of the LGBTQ+ community and Queer People of Color. He has received trainings in different modalities and interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing. Lloyd is bilingual in English and Filipino (Tagalog).
Stephen O'Rourke, LCSW Psychotherapist
Stephen received his Bachelor’s Degree in Speech at Northwestern University and his Master’s Degree at Hunter College School of Social Work (now the Silberman School of Social Work.) He is an LCSW and has trained as a substance abuse counselor at New School. He has worked with a wide range of clients including people with addictions, geriatric, LGBT-Q+ and people experiencing long-term physical illness and grief. He is trained Narrative Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational interviewing, Mindfulness and Trauma Informed Therapy and use an eclectic approach to treat the individual and their challenges.


Fajir Alattar, LMSW Psychotherapist
Fajir holds a Bachelor's degree in Clinical Psychology from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and a Master's Degree in Social Work from Columbia University. Her foundation is rooted in Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing, and Solution-Focused Approaches. Her experience spans across diverse demographics, including adults grappling with serious mental illnesses, families seeking harmony, individuals facing co-occurring disorders, and members of the LGBTQ+ community. She specializes in supporting minorities, people of color, and individuals from various socioeconomic, religious, and ethnic backgrounds.
Jessie Gonzalez, LMSW Psychotherapist
Jessie earned a Master's Degree in Social Work from from the Wurzweiler School of Social Work at Yeshiva University and a Master's Degree in Health Education and Promotion from Lehman College, City University of New York. He specializes in working with adults of all ages, dealing with issues such as anxiety, depression, addiction, adjustment, HIV & STI treatment and prevention, LGBTQ+ and Latinx. He has received trainings in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and Motivational Interviewing.


Sophia Pazos, LCSW Psychotherapist
Sophia received her Master's degree from Columbia University School of Social Work. In over twenty years of clinical experience, Sophia has worked with survivors of intimate partner violence, persons living with HIV/AIDS, older adults, immigrants in and out of status in the US, and members of the LGBTQ+ community. She also trained in evidence based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and Motivational Interviewing. Sophia is bilingual in English and Spanish.
Rajenie Somra, LMSW Psychotherapist
Rajenie received her Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from Queens College, and Master's Degree in Social Work from Adelphi University. She has worked with clients struggling with depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, borderline personality disorder and other mental health disorders. She utilizes a range of therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Relational Therapy among others.
