7. What if I want to be on medication?Your therapist will work with you in determining whether or not you will benefit from medications. 8. How does a therapy session look like?At the beginning of each session, your therapist will ask you how you’re feeling and what was has been happening since the last session. Most clients will come with an agenda or list of things they want to talk about during the session. From time to time, your therapist may incorporate an activity (for example, teaching you a certain coping skill or intervention) if he or she thinks it will be helpful. Remember, therapy sessions are all about YOU, our client. We will talk about whatever you want to talk about. Your therapist will be there to provide you with guidance, support, feedback and resources to make sure you make progress and achieve your therapy goals.
